HueWeddings started with a question we kept asking ourselves at weddings: why do most of the photos look the same? The pose. The smile. The chandelier. We wanted something quieter — something that felt less like a gallery and more like a memory.
So we built a studio around that idea. We shoot in Illinois, where we live, and in Ghana, where we’re from. We plan carefully so we can stay invisible during the ceremony. We watch for the grandmother in the back row who’s crying before anyone else notices the bride.
We’re not for everyone. We’re not the loudest, or the fastest, or the cheapest. But if you want photography that feels like it’s about your people — not just your wedding — you’re in the right place.
Welcome to HueWeddings. We’d love to tell your story.
